We took one stop on the Monorail this weekend. If you have been here or are a local this is obvious because the monorail only connects two locations: the Seattle Center and the Westake Center downtown, so every ride has only one stop.

It is a fun perspective to look down on the streets below. The cars and people drive under the train as it moves overhead. The Monorail was built for the Seattle World's Fair. It is largely a tourist attraction, but also a fun activity that children especially enjoy. Occasionally you'll find locals like us riding it for fun, and sometimes for actual transportation.

The reflections are fun too. I like the train because it looks and feels a little bit like a time machine.

It won't be long before their legs are long enough to touch the floor.
