I started a personal project with a friend last fall called The Series Project. The goal is to experiment with photography and push our creative boundaries through both photography techniques and editing. Things got a little busy with the holidays and kids getting sick, and I have a bunch of work I haven't yet shared. Beautiful twinkle light photos of London. Whoops. Yeah yeah excuses, excuses. Importantly, this project is back. Last night we went to a neighborhood spot and resumed this project in 2020.
Yesterday it absolutely poured all day long. I was convinced we'd be shooting in the raining looking for reflections in puddles. But the clouds parted and gave blue skies and warm air. Isn't it amazing this place is right in my backyard? There's a greasy spoon breakfast place Brett and I take the kids, and Chinooks and little Chinooks where we go for fish tacos and clam chowder. Last night I saw it not for our routine, but for how beautiful it is.
