To the Science Center!

When we woke up on Saturday it was the beginning of the second sunny weekend on record for the year. We've spent to much time cooped up inside so I asked the boys what they wanted to do.

"I want to go to the science center," Andy replied.

"Great idea!" I said. Music to my ears.

My two boys walk hand and hand to the Pacific Science Center.

So I began the arduous process of getting all three kids packed up and in the car and off we went. And we picked out a documentary film about the Pacfic Ocean to see while we were there.

We had a great outing. It was quiet for the AM showing of the movie, we had a little breakfast at the Armory. And you know what? They enjoyed a film that was not an animated show about young pups saving the day. I realized this weekend that we have been underutilizing our membership, so I think we'll be back soon for a laser show or a trip to the Planetarium.

I love it when the boys want to play in the tinker section.

The boys were on the hunt for butterflies. Andy identified one particularly distinct variety from the handout!
